FAQs

Q
How should containers be recycled?

1.Plastic Recycling:

After plastic bottles are collected, they are primarily sorted manually for material classification. Subsequently, various types of plastic bottles undergo compression, packaging, and transportation to recycling facilities. Through processes such as crushing, cleaning, and drying, they are transformed into recycled plastic materials used in the manufacturing of various plastic products.

2.Glass Recycling:

Glass bottles should be collected without breakage to avoid hazards. Ideally, sorting glass by transparent, green, and brown colors is beneficial. After collection, glass bottles go through sorting, crushing, and impurity removal processes, allowing them to be recycled into new glass bottles, construction materials, or glass artworks.

3.Aluminum Foil, Paper Boxes, and Waste Paper Utensils Recycling:

Waste aluminum foil, paper boxes, and paper utensils are designated recyclable items by the Ministry of Environment. Due to their treatment with wax or coating with plastic film and aluminum foil, which makes them less biodegradable and harder to remove impurities than regular waste paper, they require a longer pulping time and filtration process.

4.Paper Utensils Recycling Method:

Non-disposable utensils usually have oily residues. To enhance the quality of recycling and improve the recycled products’ quality, it is recommended to remove residues from non-disposable utensils, wipe off oil stains with a paper towel, or perform a simple cleaning before handing them over to the cleaning squad, recycling points, or recyclers.

5.Recycling Empty Pesticide Containers:

Rinse pesticide waste containers with clean water, pour out the cleaning liquid, repeat the process three times, air-dry, and tightly seal the bottle cap. Dispose of them through cleaning squads’ resource recycling vehicles, farmers’ associations, recyclers, or pesticide sales points. The cleaning liquid can be sprayed in agricultural fields.
