| Waste Management Section | Promotes self-contained waste processing facilities in the county, manages garbage transfer and supervision tasks, provides subsidies for cleaning squads in garbage disposal facilities, maintains vehicles and equipment (excluding garbage trucks and recycling vehicles), offers fuel subsidies, oversees recycling and utilization of ash and recycled granules from garbage in other cities and counties. Manages waste incineration ash recycling, implements biomass and inorganic recycled granule resource plans, coordinates countywide resource recycling, and carries out Nantou County Asbestos Building Material Waste Removal and Disposal Plan. Reviews and manages public and private waste removal and disposal organizations, conducts Nantou County Business Waste Inspection and Control Plan, oversees and manages waste reuse organization, and reviews and manages business waste-related tasks. Handles the recycling of recyclable waste, examines and manages disposal business, issues waste cooking oil recovery work permits, inspects waste cooking oil, manages county-controlled water and fertilizer treatment tasks.
