FAQs

Q
How can I recycle?

To participate in resource recycling efforts, here are some options:

1.Cleaning Squad: Residents can hand over recyclable household items to the local cleaning squad on designated “Resource Recycling Days.”

2.Recycling Points at Retailers: Various businesses, including wholesale or retail stores, chain stores for cleaning and cosmetic products, supermarkets, and convenience stores, have designated recycling bins for the public to use.

3.Community, School, Government, and Organization Recycling Points: Residents can collaborate with communities or schools to engage in resource recycling. By submitting a suitable plan for review and approval by the Ministry of Environment, they can qualify for subsidies to support their recycling initiatives.

4.Ministry of Environment Planned Recycling Points: The Ministry of Environment is establishing recycling points in public places such as gas stations, bus stations, airports, highway rest areas, and large scenic areas. These locations aim to provide the public with more convenient recycling channels. Information on recycling points and recycling businesses for various materials can be found on the “Resource Recycling Network” under the “Recycling Channel Inquiry” section. In cases where recycling points or businesses refuse items, such incidents can be reported through the Resource Recycling Hotline at “0800-085717”.
